1. 1-Methyl-2-pyrrolidinone (NMP) is a polar aprotic solvent that has the advantages of low toxicity, high boiling point, outstanding solvency, strong selectivity, and good stability. It is widely used in purification of aromatic hydrocarbon extraction, acetylene, olefins, and diolefins.
2. It is used in industrial cleaning, and it serves as a solvent for production of pesticides, engineering plastics, coatings, synthetic fibers, and integrated circuits.
3. It can also be used as an industrial cleanser, dispersant, dye, lubricant, and antifreeze.

Glycol Ethers
Application in coating: as one of the best film-forming auxiliaries of water-based paints, DPNB can be used as the coagulant of acrylic resin, phenylethylene acrylic resin and polyvinyl acetate giving an excellent performance to paint film. 
Application in cleanser: it is applicable to cleaning agents especially for those which require low volatile speed, such as wax remover and floor cleanser. As a good coupling agent for lubricating grease and fat, DPNB can be applied as paint stripper and remover of animal fat.

The acidity of adipic acid is slight and long-lasting. Since its PH value changes little within a large concentration range, it is a good PH value modifier. It can also be used for jelly powders and solid beverage powders, with its maximum amounts used respectively up to 0.15 g/kg and 0.01 g/kg.

2-Ethyhexyl Methacrylate (EHMA) should be stored in cool ventilated warehouses and kept away from fire, heat sources, and light. The temperature in warehouses should not exceed 30°C. The storage container should be tightly closed. EHMA should not be allowed to contact with air and should be stored separately from oxidants, acids, and alkalis to avoid mixing. An appropriate variety and quantity of fire equipment should be installed and in storage areas, spill treatment equipment and suitable containment materials should be prepared. Sunshine, rain, and high temperature should be prevented during its transportation. It should be stored in a cool, dark, ventilated place away from fire.
